vivo S9

Mediatek announced two 6nm chipsets and smartphone companies have already boarded the hype train, rushing to launch their devices with the new platforms. Xiaomi and Redmi already committed to releasing phones with the Dimensity 1200, now we’ve learned from a leakster that the vivo S9 are getting to be the first phone powered by the Dimensity 1100 chip.

The new device will accompany a 6.4” screen, but it’ll have a typical notch, not a waterdrop or a punch hole. it’ll host dual front-facing cameras – a 44MP main one and an ultrawide unit.

The vivo S9 is perhaps going the V2072A phone that has already appeared on Google Play Console. it’ll accompany 12GB RAM and Android 11 out of the box, likely with OriginOS on top. We also expect the screen to be an AMOLED panel, and hopefully, it’ll be sold globally, although the vivo S-series rarely get wide availability.

A Google Play Console listing reveals that vivo is close to launch a replacement smartphone with the model number V2072A. The device being certified for Google services and apps means its launch is simply round the corner.

According to the console, the new vivo phone will run on the new 6nm Dimensity 1100 chipset by Mediatek, including 12 GB RAM.

The listing also gave a sneak peek of the front of the phone, revealing that the vivo V2072A features a proper notch, rather than a waterdrop cut or a punch hole for the twin cameras.

The panel will have 1080p resolution. Since the phone is certified for Google services, it means it’s a tool meant to arrive on the worldwide scene and not reception .

There are many unknowns for now but we believe more are going to be revealed within the forthcoming weeks, and that we might see the vivo V21 lineup get announced.
